Webinar Description:
The Community Care Network for Dementia (CaN-D) is pleased to invite you to our upcoming webinar focused on creative approaches to respite care for persons with dementia. Join the Alzheimer’s Association’s Center for Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI) as we showcase groundbreaking approaches to respite care. ⦁ How researchers and providers can collaborate on proposals to develop and evaluate models for home and community-based respite care.
⦁ A spotlight on Lucky Shoals Community Association, a nonprofit serving under-resourced families in Georgia, with a free, volunteer-driven program tailored to cultural and linguistic needs.

CDRI Funding Opportunity:
The Alzheimer’s Association is accepting applications for the Center for Dementia Respite Innovation (CDRI) grant. The CDRI is a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to making respite service providers (adult day centers, in-home services, innovative models) more dementia-capable and provide the best person-centered care possible.
This winter, the CDRI will provide grants totaling $4 million to respite providers. Providers can learn more and apply at alz.org/CDRI. Applications are due on March 30th.
