Hillary Lum, MD, PhD, CU Anschutz School of Medicine

Dr. Hillary Lum, MD, PhD is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. She is a geriatrician, palliative medicine physician, and health services researcher. Dr. Lum’s work focuses on improving care for older adults with serious illnesses, including those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia and family care partners. She is interested in designing real-world interventions with older adults and other partners for primary care and community settings. Her work includes interventions to improve patient- and care partner-relevant outcomes related to advance care planning, dementia models of care, and digital health.
